Common questions
A link says permission is needed
Open the extension popup or onboarding page and grant optional website access. LinkSure requests this only when you choose to check public destinations.
Scholarly matches are not shown
Turn on “Look up scholarly citations online” in Settings. It is intentionally off by default and only complete references with usable titles are scheduled.
Results look stale
Use Clear cache in the popup, then recheck the source. Cache lifetimes are short, but clearing provides a clean result immediately.
Security reports
Report vulnerabilities privately.
Do not open a public issue for exploitable behavior. Include the affected version, reproduction steps and potential impact.
